Overview – NanoQ Series(Microvolume Spectrophotometer)

NanoQ Series’s sample compression technology forms an ultra-thin, uniform liquid film between two quartz surfaces, providing an optimized environment for light transmission and precise measurement.

By maintaining a stable sample column, it reduces the impact of environmental factors and sample variability, supporting consistent and reliable results.

In addition, its precision optical design provides excellent linearity across a wide detection range, while automated spectral analysis and repeat measurements support reliable results, even at low concentrations.

4-Point Optical Path System

NanoQ Series features K LAB’s proprietary 4-point optical path design, providing high measurement accuracy and reliable data.

By dynamically optimizing the optical path length (1 mm, 0.2 mm, 0.1 mm, and 0.03 mm), the system provides accurate measurements across a wide concentration range while maintaining consistent data quality.

Sample Compression Technology

An ultra-thin, uniform liquid film forms between two quartz surfaces, supporting optimal light transmission and reliable measurements.

Full Spectrum Analysis

NanoQ Series incorporates an array-based spectrophotometric system featuring a xenon flash lamp and a 2,048-element CMOS linear image sensor, providing rapid acquisition of full absorbance spectra across the UV-Vis range (190–850 nm) within seconds.

High-speed spectral measurement is complemented by advanced data processing algorithms, including peak and valley detection, supporting precise spectral interpretation and reliable analytical results.

Data Security & User Menu

NanoQ Series supports secure data management through user login with role-based access control, supporting different permission levels for individual users.

Customized menus can be created by combining frequently used measurement modes for improved workflow efficiency and ease of use. Up to two user-defined menus can be registered, and menus created by other users are protected from unauthorized deletion, supporting data integrity and system consistency.

The main interface is organized into four primary tabs—Nucleic Acid, Protein (UV), Protein Assay, and More—offering structured and intuitive access to measurement modes.

Impurity Correction Technology

Unlike conventional systems that rely on single-wavelength ratios (A260/A280), NanoQ Series analyzes the full spectrum (220–350 nm) to automatically correct for contaminants, including:

  • Protein
  • Phenol
  • Guanidine salts
  • Buffer components

Simultaneous verification of concentration and purity without additional calculations or sample preparation.
